‘‘Individually we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.’’

- Ryunosuke Satoro

Our projects are truly matters of the heart.

Each project is special and connected with many emotions. With every mission, we experience unique moments with the team on-site, and volunteers, learn wonderful, heartfelt stories, and get to know inspiring people. Not only can we give something, but we also get a lot back. Gratitude, hope, and joy. This makes it all the more important for us to be active in as many places as possible.

Water Project - Tanzania (July 2021)

In Mafinga, Tanzania, we wanted to make a long-term impact on the community. The most sustainable solution was to provide a water source for the school. Therefore, a borehole water source and infrastructure was built to supply the toilets, kitchen and common areas.

Wingfield Refugee Camp Project – South Africa (March 2021)

In 2020 many refugees were located in camps as the Covid-19 pandemic gripped the country. Wingfield Refugee Camp housed over 800 people including approximately 60% children, lacking basic necessities. D.R.O.P.S. distributed basic need packages and shared tips on essential hygiene topics.

Sri Lanka (March 2019)

Sri Lanka's lower classes are particularly exposed to health problems because they lack basic knowledge on medical care topics. To this end D.R.O.P.S. offers important educational classes on brushing teeth, washing hands, personal hygiene and more during the visits to reduce a variety of health problems and risks

Social Support during Economic Crisis - Sri Lanka (April 2022)

During the difficult times of the economic crisis, D.R.O.P.S. provided financial support to assist Dimuthu Foundation in its work to empower underprivileged people, children without parents and disabled children. It is precisely these people who are affected by the impact of the economic crisis.

Transportation and Food Program Support - Tanzania (March & April 2022)

D.R.O.P.S. proudly supports “Kindergarten of Joy” by providing funds towards the immediate needs to ensure the school can remain open until the end of the school term to ensure the children can continue to learn and receive an additional two meals per day.

Vegetable Garden Project - Tanzania (January 2022)

Through providing more nutritious meals, the project also aims to simultaneously reduce the schools spent on vegetables at the market, making the school more independent from rising food prices and use the savings to buy learning materials such as textbooks, and bookshelves, desks and tables for the classroom.

Modernized book meeting place in South Africa (January 2019)

Buisplaas dilapidated library was renovated and thanks to D.R.O.P.S. donations it now includes a general use vegetable garden with seating area and a fenced play area as a safe recreation area for the town's preschoolers. A meeting place for young and old.

Family center and refuge for single mothers in South Africa (April 2017)

D.R.O.P.S. Foundation is proud to have been actively involved in the reopening of the newly renovated CEF FAMILY CENTER in Asla Park, South Africa. This initiative is especially aimed at young mothers whose bonding process with their baby is hindered by daily domestic or social violence.

Medical aid stations, health awareness and environmental protection programs in Sri Lanka (March 2017)

One of the highlights of our Sri Lanka Mission was in Raddegodawatte. There, participating volunteer D.R.O.P.S. doctors worked with local doctors to treat more than 2,000 patients, and the whole team supported building up the IT training laboratory to improve the existing school infrastructure.

We do not concentrate on only one part of the world, but try to be as widely distributed as possible. D.R.O.P.S. works in different parts of the world, but especially in smaller and remote villages, where people are particularly dependent on receiving support from the outside. Here we try to establish in each case what is needed individually.

Above all, we focus on education, medical care, and sustainability. Thus we create more quality of life and long-term improvement of living conditions.

One of the most important goals of D.R.O.P.S. is to ensure the education of children and the elderly. Only by working to make education possible in the poorest regions of this world can we sustainably improve living conditions there and build a better tomorrow for children and their families.

We are committed to providing immediate basic and /or specific healthcare education and care to people in as many places around the world as possible, so that every child and adult learns the importance of prevention and screening to maintain their own health. For a long, healthy and happy life. Children and aged people in need remain the target.

Sustainable Solutions

We organize a functioning basic infrastructure to guarantee further assistance and follow-up following our specific medical missions. So that sustainable solutions are created that can be continued and sustained by the people. D.R.O.P.S. stands for sustainable support instead of one-time aid.

Zero Admin Cost

D.R.O.P.S. is a non-profit organization focused on using all donations towards initiating change. We achieve this by reducing administrative costs to zero and using all donations exclusively for our projects for the costs of the relief efforts.

Through a dedicated team of volunteers who devote themselves to the diverse tasks, we succeed in meeting the different requirements. Thanks to this dedicated community, we create a visible and lasting impact with each mission, enabling us to support people in need around the world.

Our goal with D.R.O.P.S. is to unite people to help others. Because one individual may not change much, but a community can make a big difference. Whether through donations or active help with one of our missions, every gesture counts to give hope and improve the quality of life for people in the poorest regions of the world.

It starts with a small drop, and ends in a big ocean!

Upcoming Projects

We are constantly working to find out where our help is needed the most. Some plans are already in process, and others are still in the future. Including but not limited to, support for a major purchase, general medical and dental assistance in villages and schools, or educational programs. We are always looking for the best way to use donations as efficiently as possible.

If you want to be a part of it, please have a look at our upcoming project locations and apply as a volunteer or support us with a donation. Together for a better future!

Guatemala 2024

We are especially proud to be able to say: 100% of your donations go towards the implementation of our projects! No administrative costs or the like are financed, but only such funds that are necessary for our missions on site.
