Warehouse project in Sri Lanka (February 2015)

Project description:

Food packages in Colombo

In February 2015, a D.R.O.P.S. team visited the "Warehouse Project" in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. There, among other things, homeless and needy children are cared for by volunteer teachers and volunteers.

With the help of the team, 250 food packages were distributed to the children. The happiness and gratitude at that moment were indescribable and palpable even without words.

“There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow.” - Orison Swett Marden

We would like to thank Mrs. Mel Wijeye, leader of this project, for her daily efforts and for taking care of our team.

We would also like to thank all the supporters of D.R.O.P.S., without whom such missions would not be possible.
