In October, we were in beautiful, but sadly largely underserved Uganda. During a two-day marathon for free dental and general medicine, our team was in full force.
Two dentists as well as a general practitioner, with the support of 20 volunteers and in direct collaboration with the JCW Dream Africa International Foundation as well as the Korean Church in Dubai, cared for over 400 patients free of charge. Long queues from sunrise to early evening highlighted the need of children and adults whose gratitude was palpable in an overwhelming atmosphere of happiness.
We would like to thank the NGO "Dream Africa International" as well as the Korean Church in Dubai for their cooperation, through whose support such projects are only made possible.
