Dental and general healthcare mission in Uganda (October, 2014)

Project description:

Medical care under difficult conditions in Uganda

In a village near Bujuuko Kasana, about 2 hours drive from Ebbene, people live without electricity and running water. This makes it much more difficult to maintain good health, which is why a particularly large number of residents gratefully took up our offer in this project.

D.R.O.P.S. partnered with the Korean Church of Dubai to support this mission and make this blessing a reality. Two general practitioners, two dentists and more than 20 volunteers participated in this large-scale mission and cared for more than 500 people in need. This was an extraordinary achievement for all the doctors, as the medical equipment could only be operated by diesel generators.

This mission was also marked by many emotions and unbelievable impressions. True to the motto: "Giving makes joy!"

„Blessed are those who give without remembering and take without forgetting.“ - Elizabeth Bibesco

During this mission, we from D.R.O.P.S. became aware of the impressive charitable activities of "Dream Africa International" (N.G.O.) and supported their future projects to give these residents a better and brighter future.

Each mission is associated with many special moments. Impressions are left behind. Emotions are shared. The smiles on their faces, the tears of joy. They will never be forgotten. We at D.R.O.P.S. look forward to sharing these moments of joy with the rest of the world.

Thank you to everyone who makes the impossible possible.
