Dental and general healthcare mission in Uganda (October, 2014)

Project Info

Project Description

D.R.O.P.S joined hands with the Korean Church of Dubai to support this mission and to make this blessing a reality. Over 500 residents gathered this day to get the corrective treatment to relieve their pain. With the remarkable assistance of two general doctors, two dentists and over 20 volunteers we were able to educate and treat all participants.
We chose a small village close to Bujuuko Kasana, which was a 2h drive from Ebbene. This village had neither electricity nor running water. Medical equipments ran on generators. It was a challenge to all doctors. Everyone left aided.
During this assignment we at D.R.O.P.S. noticed the impressive charitable activities done by Dream Africa International (N.G.O.) and funded towards their future projects to make a better and brighter future for these residents.
We would like to thank all volunteers, sponsors and supporters who made this mission reality.

Every assignment is connected to many special moments. Impressions are made. Emotions are shared. The smile on their faces, the tears of joy. These will never be forgotten. We at D.R.O.P.S are looking forward to spread these moments of joy to the rest of the world.
